COURSE CONTENTS

The components of the course are:

a) Listening

  • Trains you to listen for the main idea and specific details through video/audio songs, documentaries from Astro, movies, sports news etc.

b) Speaking

  • Trains you to plan, organize and give brief oral presentations through role-play, reports etc.

c) Reading

  • Develops and improves you basic reading skills through skimming and scanning, contextual clues, dictionary skills etc.

d) Writing

  • Prepares you to write error-free sentences and logical, cohesive essays with grammatical accuracy.

e) Grammar

  • Helps you gain accuracy in language use.

f) Public Speaking

  • Enables you to express yourself freely through activities like debates, forums , story telling etc.

g) Physical Fitness

  • Keeps you fit and healthy, instill discipline, a sense of responsibility, safety awareness, promotes leadership qualities, build team spirit and sportsmanship.

h) Multimedia

  • Equips you abreast with the latest in information technology.

i) Religious Knowledge
