	BACKGROUND FELDA ENGLISH LANGUAGE CENTRE (FELC) was set up in January 2003 in response to our former Prime Minister`s, Tun Dr. Mahathir Mohamad's call to improve the standard of English especially among students and Malaysians. FELC is situated on the first floor above the Dining Hall of Asrama Semai Bakti , Kelana Jaya , Selangor Darul Ehsan. Three lecturers reported for duty on Thursday , 16 January 2003 . FELC was officially launched by Felda Chairman , Y. Bhg . Tan Sri Dr. Mohd. Yusof Noor on 19 February 2003. FELC conducts Intensive English Courses for 14 weeks for past – SPM students , especially for children of Felda settlers Felda officers all around Malaysia .
